Affiliate applications and tracking are currently on hold. PetPence may use selected partnerships later to support the free calculator and food-safety guide.

PetPence currently provides ordinary retailer search links for the evidence-checked treat shortlist and Smart Reorder pages, but those links do not contain affiliate tracking. PetPence therefore earns no commission from them at present. Retailer prices in the comparison tool are entered by the user and are not live quotes. This page will be updated when the first approved partnership becomes active.
How future affiliate links will work
PetPence may receive a commission when a user follows a clearly labelled retailer link and completes a qualifying purchase. This should not increase the customer’s price. The retailer remains responsible for the product, checkout, delivery, returns and customer service.
How links will be labelled
Commercial buttons and their related product content will be marked with clear wording such as “Ad – affiliate link”before a user clicks, including links reached from a requested reorder notification. The notification first opens the user’s private PetPence reorder page; it does not silently redirect to a retailer. PetPence will not hide a commercial relationship behind vague wording.
Comparison independence
Best-value results are calculated from total price, pack quantity, delivery and discounts—not from the commission a retailer may pay. A retailer may be shown even when PetPence receives no commission from it.
Advertising standards
PetPence aims to follow the UK CAP Code requirement that affiliate advertising is obviously identifiable. For further information, see the official ASA guidance on online affiliate marketing.
