Why it matters
ASPCA poison guidance says citrus contains citric acid and essential oils; a tiny amount of flesh may cause only stomach upset, while larger or concentrated exposures can be more serious.
How to serve it
Do not deliberately offer citrus. Contact your vet after exposure to peel, plant material, essential oil or a larger amount, especially if your cat seems unwell.
