Only fully cooked, plain potato — never raw, green or sprouting.

Why it matters
Raw and green potatoes can contain harmful glycoalkaloids; cooked potato is also starchy and easy to overfeed.
How to serve it
Remove skin, green areas and sprouts, cook thoroughly and offer only a small plain piece. Skip chips, roast potatoes and mash made with butter or salt.
